Jumpgate Obtains Approvals for ca 13.3 million SEK in Public Financing for three New Game Projects
Jumpgate subsidiaries Funatics, Tivola Games and gameXcite have received approvals of ca 13.3 million SEK in total (1 220 000 EUR) in financing from the German Federal funding for video games. Jumpgate's Hamburg based game studios are awarded 1.7 MSEK in public grants for prototypes for new game projects
On May 19, it was announced that Jumpgate’s Hamburg based game studios Tivola Games and gameXcite were awarded public grants totalling 160 000 EUR (ca 1.7 MSEK) for the development of prototypes for the game projects Pet Universe and Space Station Manager respectively. The grants are awarded by Gamecity Hamburg (part of Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft).
